Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts can only be submitted through the journal’s online manuscript submission and evaluation system, available at https://www.journalofhearingscience.com/. Manuscripts submitted via any other medium will not be accepted.

Author Names
We advise using your full first name and last name (surname), with a middle name or initial if desired. Please note that Author names will be published exactly as they appear on the title page of the manuscript file.

Covering letter
Manuscripts must be accompanied by a covering letter signed by the lead author. This should include:
1. A statement that there is no prior publication or submission elsewhere;
2. A statement that the manuscript has been read and approved by all authors, and that all of them meet the requirements for genuine authorship;
3. A statement of financial or other relationships that might lead to a conflict of interest;
4. The name, email address, postal address, and telephone number of the corresponding author; this person is responsible for communicating with co-authors about revisions and final approval of proofs.

The letter should give any additional information that may be helpful to the editor, such as the category of the article.

Permissions
The manuscript must be accompanied by copies of any permissions to reproduce published material, to use illustrations or report information about identifiable people, or to name people for their contributions.

Mistakes reporting
If an author discovers a mistake in a text that has already been submitted, they should promptly notify the editors.
